In June 2015, CDC, the United Kingdom’s Development Finance Institution (DFI) wholly owned by the UK Government, launched an update of its free-to-use ESG Toolkit for Private Equity Fund Managers in Emerging Markets. According to CDC, “(t)his version, released in June 2015, is CDC’s third ESG Toolkit for Fund Managers and the first to be web enabled. The intention is to make the information more accessible, easier to navigate and more thoroughly cross-referenced to other useful sources of guidance. As it is now online, it also means content can be more regularly updated as practices and standards evolve. The content of the toolkit can also be downloaded and printed.”
