At Global Trade Review’s Asia Trade & Treasury Week in Singapore in September 2016, Westpac surveyed 112 industry participants about sustainable trade finance.
Whereas 95% of those surveyed stated that sustainability plays a key role in choosing business partners and service providers, only 12% agreed that financial institutions “have the most responsibility in driving sustainable trade.”
