“Is the news about Congo’s conflict minerals good?” – The Washington Post – June 18, 2014

In an article published in The Washington Post on June 18, 2014 Sarah von Billerbeck asks if the news about Congo’s conflict minerals is good.  The author is a Lecturer in International Relations in the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, where she works on post-conflict peacebuilding, UN peacekeeping and the Democratic Republic of Congo. She previously worked for the United Nations in eastern Congo.

The article critiques a report published by the Enough Project on June 10, 2014 following a June 2, 2014 deadline for US firms to report to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (US SEC) about conflict minerals in their supply chains.
