An article published on ThinkAdvisor on Augusut 13, 2015 reported that “Morningstar announced its plans to launch the industry’s first ESG scores for global mutual and exchange-traded funds.
Morningstar will use Sustainalytics’ environmental, social and governance ratings to create ESG fund scores.
Morningstar expects to launch the fund-level ESG scores in the fourth quarter of 2015 and through Morningstar Data feeds and its major software platforms in 2016.”
