“China’s Idled Wind Turbines Rise in 2015 After Record Installs” – Bloomberg – February 3, 2016

On February 3, 2016 Bloomberg reported that “China’s wind turbines sitting idle more than doubled to 15 percent in 2015 after record installations of 33 gigawatts, triple France’s entire capacity of the clean resource.  Also, “(i)dled power generation increased 69 percent from a year ago to 33.9 billion kilowatt-hours, according to data from the National Energy Administration.”
