On August 6, 2018 Investment Trust Insider reported that veteran emerging markets fund manager Mark Mobius will launch a new emerging markets investment trust.
According to the article, “Mobius Investment Trust (MMIT) will focus on small and medium-sized companies in emerging and frontier markets and will be run with an absolute return remit aimed at avoiding long-term losses.
Like the open-ended funds the firm is launching, MMIT would look to invest in companies with resilient business models with the potential to make environmental, social and governance (ESG) improvements.”
