On June 28, 2012 UNEP FI published the report Integracion de la sostenabilidad en las instituciones financieras Latinoamericanas.
According to the press release distributed by UNEP FI, “This new report compiles and analyzes the result of a Latin America-wide survey on financial sustainability conducted among 85 banking institutions.”
The following topics are covered in the report, which was undertaken in partnership with FELEBAN, the Latin American Federation of Banks: environmental policies implemented in the Latin American financial institutions surveyed; the types of sustainable products and services offered; the perceived roadblocks hindering the mainstreaming of sustainability; and concrete steps proposed to integrate sustainability across the region. The report features 19 case studies documenting good practice.
