In an article published on February 8, 2013 on FT Adviser entitled, “ESG issues are key this year,” Ian Aylward describes the findings of a survey of 31 global investment fund managers about environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
Survey findings include the following:
- 90% of respondents believe that ESG issues are important for clients;
- 84% of respondents state that managers and analysts consider ESG part of their processes; and
- 74% of respondents expect ESG factors to be incorporated in all mainstream funds in the future.
