“Time for a new plastics economy” – Eco-Business – February 9, 2016

An article published on Eco-Business on February 9, 2016 describes a recent report that chronicles the scope of plastics pollution across Asia and calls for “a new way to look at the plastics economy.”

“According to the report released last month by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the World Economic Forum, Asia is responsible for 80 per cent of plastic leakage into the oceans because of lack of regulation and collection infrastructure.”
