In an article on BusinessGreen entitled, “Apple’s chief hails green progress as biggest achievement,” Jessica Shankleman reports on the speech by Tim Cook, Apple CEO, at a Goldman Sachs internet and technology conference on February 12, 2013.
The article chronicles Apple’s heightened sensitivity towards and practical measures regarding environmental responsibility. Ironically, the article ignores the social issues which continue to plague Apple’s supply chain. It is unclear whether Mr. Cook addressed these issues in his speech.
