On February 26, 2019 KT Press reported that “Rwanda’s Capital Market Authority (CMA), International Finance Corporation (IFC) in partnership with the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchange, on Tuesday advanced an effort to improve integrated reporting and disclosure practices and strengthen environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosure and reporting requirements for listed companies.
The new smart tool will guide companies listed on Rwanda Stock Market on transparency and accurate information sharing with investors.
Four local companies; Bank of Kigali which recently cross-listed on the Nairobi bourse, Bralirwa Ltd, I&M Bank and Crystal Telecom are one of the driving forces of the country’s young Stock Market.”
